Tech Connection: Network Security and Information Technology Fundamentals

Image
Discuss how your selected tech topic connects to the fundamentals of information technology covered in this course? The history of computers is closely intertwined with the fundamentals of information technology. Computers, as we know them today, have evolved from the early calculating machines and devices that were developed centuries ago. The history of computers can be traced back to ancient civilizations, where devices like the abacus were used for simple calculations. Over the years, various mechanical calculators and devices were invented, such as the Pascaline and the Analytical Engine, which laid the foundation for modern computing. The real breakthrough in computer technology came with the advent of electronic computers in the mid-20th century. These early computers were massive and used vacuum tubes for processing information. They were primarily used for complex calculations and data processing in scientific and military applications. As computer technolog...

ping activity google.com, news.com.au, and docomo.ne.jp  4 packets sent, 4 packets received, 0 packets lost  tracert information  google.com: 2ms to jump to each router its timed out at router 18  and it made it too router 27  news.com.au: 2ms to jump to each router. it timed out at router 5 and it made it to router 12  docomo.jp between 1-5 ms to jump to each server timed out at server 5 made it to server 14    Ping sends a small message called an ICMP echo request from the source device to the destination device. The destination device then responds with an ICMP echo reply message. This allows the source device to measure the round trip time (RTT) it takes for the packet to travel to the destination and back. Traceroute, on the other hand, sends a series of packets with increasing time-to-live (TTL) values. Each packet starts with a TTL of 1, and as it passes through each router on the path to the destination, the TTL value is increased. ...

computers in the work place

Computers play a crucial role in the sales industry by providing various functions that enhance efficiency and productivity. Here are some key functions of computers in the sales industry: Data Management: Computers are used to store and manage vast amounts of customer and product data. This includes information such as customer contact details, purchase history, and inventory records. Computers enable easy organization, searching, and retrieval of this data, helping sales teams make informed decisions. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): CRM software helps sales teams track customer interactions, manage leads, and streamline sales processes. Computers run CRM systems, allowing sales representatives to access and update customer information, track sales activities, and monitor sales performance. Sales Analysis: Computers are used to analyze sales data and generate reports. Sales analytics software helps identify trends, patterns, and customer preferences, enabling sales teams...

Computer viruses are malicious software programs designed to replicate themselves and spread from one computer to another. They are a type of malware that can cause various types of damage to a computer system, including the loss or corruption of data, system crashes, and unauthorized access to personal information. It is important to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions to protect computers and networks from viruses. Regularly updating software, maintaining strong security measures, and practicing safe online behavior can help minimize the risks associated with computer viruses. Phishing is a form of cyber-attack where attackers trick individuals into revealing sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords, credit card numbers, or social security numbers. Programming Languages

So using scratch for the first time was actually pretty fun it was just a new program that will take some getting use too the more time I use it the more I will get better at it I don’t think it’s too many difficulties using the program, it’s just more of getting used to it. From working with the lesson in the textbook and the task that they have in it I think scratch is a little easier to use. This is my first time using both and getting used to any of these programs with the little experience I have when it comes to programing and using some sort of coding. Machine learning would be most effective in scenarios where there is a large amount of data and complex patterns that are difficult for humans to analyze and extract insights from. One such scenario is in the field of healthcare, where machine learning algorithms can analyze patient data to predict disease outcomes, recommend treatment plans, and identify patterns that may not be easily visible to healthcare professional...
